It was a while later until we got back to the 1st album but we did that before the 3rd Master Of Reality was released.
This all suggests late early Kingsley Fats , Nov 16, EasterEverywhere and Psychedelic Good Trip like this. The first album is definitely my favorite and has been for a long time. The very first Sabbath album I ever heard was Heaven and Hell back in The Ozzy stuff came soon after.

I remember sitting in my room with most of the lights off and feeling a sense of dread when the title track began. I still like it far less than any of the first six albums and the first two RJD albums, but it's grown on me a bit since I first heard it. It's still a bit too bluesy and jammy for my taste.
